Research Center Membership

The IASSID maintains a Research Centers membership category to encourage the participation of research institutes, programs and centres in the Association. The benefits of membership include:

• involvement on NGO (non-governmental organizational) activities with the World Health Organization, United Nations and other disability-related international bodies
• subscription to the IASSID Newsletter and postings on the IASSID international website
• dedicated listserv for research and funding interests
• reduced registration fees for IASSID-associated meetings
• international networking among research centres
• participation in special project and multi-site research endeavors.

Membership

Membership is open to all research institutes, foundations, programs and centers involved in training/ education, basic and applied research, practice and social/health work, and public policy and advocacy involving intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Fees are US $125 per year or $245 for two years.
