Research in Africa Fund
Announcements were made last Autumn about a IASSID research fund to support
research in intellectual disabilities in Africa. A call for applications went
out in the Autumn of 2006 and nine applications were received. Six have been
recommended for funding and IASSID has been able to fund three of the six.
Applications recommended for funding are shown in the Table below. Projects
1, 5, and 6 have secured funding from IASSID.
