The Nursing SIRG is in its formative stage and is looking for members to help organize, formulate a mission, develop a set of common objectives, and work-up by-laws for the SIRG.

One of its first endeavors will be to sponsor a day-long conference in Koriyama City, Japan on March 17th 2002 in conjunction with the 2002 roundtable of the Aging and QOL SIRGs. The tentative theme of the conference is Nursing Curriculum in Intellectual Disabilities: Throughout the Lifespan.
